His Grace is always traveling. He is never worn out by journey. Like an adventurous youth, in the 1950’s he started the first journey, the longest one, judging by the facilities of his time, from Kottayam to Jabalpur. Then he was 25. till date, he continues his tour all over the country. But he is not a globetrotter hoping from one aeroplane to another, making travel a sign of pleasure and prestige. His travel is mostly in the overcrowded, dirty, foul smelling trains, and sometimes in the motor car or a bullock cart, covering miles and miles through the hot, dusty, dilapidated country roads. This is the Shepherd going in search of the sheep. The father hoping to meet his children, the social emancipator going to liberate the victims of neglect, injustice and exploitation. He cannot rest until the whole Malankara Church takes up his call to be the servants of the people of Bharat.
